Meet The Team
President / Co-founder – Willow Grove
Tom founded DII Computers, Inc. in 1997 with his brother, Frank. His career began in 1984 while working for QED Electronics. At QED, Tom mastered the intricate channel of sourcing components and circuitry while the personal computer industry was in its infancy. Network and infrastructure design, systems project oversight and product knowledge are all competencies that Tom shares with DII clients, partners and peers. Tom enjoys the challenges of product and resource distribution and managing vendor relationships on behalf of clients. Tom earned a BS in Sports Management from Delaware Valley University in 2008.
Tom and his wife Debbie are avid runners and enjoy their time outside the office with their three children, Max, Ben and Sara.
Vice President / Chief Engineer – Willow Grove
Frank joined DII Computers, Inc. in May of 1998. He has over 28 years of experience including network design and implementation, system administration, and application support and troubleshooting. Frank’s first professional position after graduating from LaSalle University was with the Navy as a civilian scientist. His aptitude for computers was apparent and he became the go-to person for transferring data from then relatively new PCs (IBM XT/AT) to UNIX-based mainframes. Frank then earned a Master’s Degree from Penn State in Engineering Science Computer Design.
He has professional certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, Linux Professional Institute and Citrix Presentation Server. Frank enjoys working with technology and people, especially putting the former to work for the latter in all different environments.
Outside of the office, Frank enjoys time with his wife, Carol and their two children, Alicia and Frankie, playing guitar and turning a wrench in the garage.
Business Manager – Willow Grove
Patricia joined DII Computers, Inc. in 1999 after graduating from Towson University with a BS degree. She handles reception, bookkeeping, client coordination and sales support. She earned an MBA from Temple University in 2005.
Her favorite part of her job is making clients’ lives easier and helping their businesses run smoothly. She values resourcefulness and is passionate about finding answers to whatever questions arise.
Robert Brooks, III
Director of Technical Services – York/Willow Grove
Robert rejoined DII Computers, Inc. as a Network Engineer in 2008, having worked with DII for several years starting in 2003. Beginning 2019, Robert became the Director of Technical Services for DII Computers, helping to expand on the company’s service offering. Based in East York, PA, he has over 17 years of experience in server support, troubleshooting, help desk services, system installation and design. Robert graduated from York Technical Institute as a Computer Systems Specialist with a 4.0 GPA and achieved Academic Honors, the Dedication to Professionalism Award and Perfect Attendance. He recently received York Technical Institute’s 2016 Distinguished Alumnus Award. Robert’s previous roles included providing support to many clients as a Product Support Specialist for Keystone Computer Group, LLP, and as a Network Administrator for the York County Chamber of Commerce.
Robert is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has two antivirus certifications. In addition, he has extensive experience with computer and networking hardware, Microsoft operating systems, electronic messaging systems, Zeiss/OptoVue/Merge medical systems, general business applications and antivirus software.
Robert is in his fourth year of serving on the Board of the York Youth Symphony Orchestra, and his third year of Board service with the Hunt Valley Symphony Orchestra and Chorale, where for both he is also serving as President. When he isn’t supporting or enjoying the performing arts Robert enjoys skiing, bicycling, and traveling.
Senior Network Engineer / Regional Services Manager – York
Roy joined DII Computers, Inc. as a Senior Network Engineer and Area Manager in February 2001. With over 30 years of experience, Roy has been involved with a wide range of businesses, both as a consultant and as an Information Systems professional. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Roy has held positions as an Application Programmer, Systems Analyst, Technology Manager, Microcomputer Coordinator and Trainer, Managing Director and Vice President of Information Systems.
He has extensive experience with a variety of products including both prior and current versions of Windows Server, Exchange Server and SQL Server, as well as a multitude of other 3rd party applications. Roy completed certifications as a Citrix Certified Administrator, a Microsoft Certified Professional and recently obtained certifications as a DocuWare Application Consultant and a DocuWare Systems Consultant. He also has design and installation experience with both local and wide area networks.
Network Engineer / Consultant – York
Jason joined DII Computers, Inc. as a Network Engineer in June of 2006. Based in York, PA, Jason has over 18 years of experience in server support, troubleshooting, system installation and help desk services. Jason graduated from York Technical Institute. He has provided support to many clients as a Product Support Specialist for Miller & Co. CPA’s and as a Network Administrator for The Shadowfax Corporation.
Jason has extensive experience with computer and networking hardware, Microsoft operating systems, electronic messaging systems, general business applications and antivirus software.
Network Engineer / Consultant – Willow Grove
Joe Ramos joined DII Computers, Inc. as a Network Engineer and Consultant in March, 2002 and has over 25 years of experience, 15 of which have been with DII. He is a graduate of Orleans Technical Institute and continues to complete technical classes at Montgomery County Community College.
Joe is a Cisco Certified Network Administrator. In addition, he has extensive experience with and training in Novell Network products, all current Microsoft operating systems, and Active Directory design and implementation.
Technical Account Executive – Willow Grove
Ben came to DII Computers, Inc. in late 2016 after completing a semester studying Political Economy at Florida Southern College. After coming back to Pennsylvania, Ben enrolled in online courses at Bucks County Community College studying business. In the following year, Ben transferred to Penn State University Abington, where he is studying Information Sciences and Technology. Ben is taking courses part-time, while devoting his full-time energy to helping DII Computers better serve customers with their computer needs. He prides himself in strong customer service, building relationships with customers, and helping DII Computers grow through sales, marketing, and networking.
Ben completed the National Student Leadership Conference in Law and Advocacy in Washington D.C. He was the captain of his wrestling team in high school and enjoys watching most sports. He also enjoys listening to music, going to the beach, and reading when he isn’t working.
Technical Account Executive – Willow Grove
After graduating from Delaware Valley University in 2017 with a B.S in Chemistry, Max joined the DII Computers team while learning both the business and the technical sides of the trade. He enjoys working in the field to assure customers are 100% satisfied with the given solution.
At Delaware Valley University, Max was the captain of the soccer team for two years. in 2014, 2015, and 2016 Max made the Middle Atlantic Conference All Academic honor roll. Following graduation, Max still likes to play as much as possible and follows professional soccer as closely as possible.
Technical Account Executive and Junior Technician – Willow Grove
Matt came to DII Computers in late 2018. Matt specializes in having strong people skills and a “can-do” attitude. He enjoys talking to people to understand their problems, and then helping them solve those problems. Matt’s beginning with DII served as his introduction to the IT industry, having experience with logistics and supply-chain management prior.
When Matt is not working, he enjoys playing the role of the “car guy.” He is also passionate about exercise and nutrition.
Technical Development Specialist – Remote
Sean joined DII Computers in 2018, initially helping to kick off multiple web-design projects related to new company developments. Since then, Sean’s role has expanded to helping the company automate business processes, both internally and for customers. Sean is a student at Penn State University studying cyber-security for his undergrad and data sciences as his master degree. His focuses include automation, information technology, artificial intelligence, and cyber-security.
Sean is very active at school, as he started Nittany Data Labs, the premier data science club at Penn State with over 200 active members. In his spare time, Sean enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and traveling.
Kimberly Brehm CFE, EA
Quickbooks Pro-Advisor / Accountant / Business Development – Willow Grove
Kim came to DII Computers, Inc. in 2015 with over eight years of accounting and business administration experience, six and a half of which were spent as a Senior Accountant in one of the largest local firms in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Kim graduated with honors from Delaware Valley University, earned her Certified Fraud Examiner credentials in 2013 and became an IRS Enrolled Agent in 2015.
Kim is dedicated to educating and supporting clients with their QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop questions and concerns.
